I think“draw” refers to the string with a pulling movement and the “pounds” refers to the weight of power when Brian pulled the bow.
I think that the “draw” refers to the length that he pulls from the bow and the “pound” refers to the force of his strength that he has on the bow. (I am not really sure, if anything wrong; please let me know). ^-^
